JE Baker works from her studio in Chicago creating drawings, paintings, sculpture, books, and installations that rely on narrative. Her recent work explores the fairy tale, especially focused on the metamorphosis of the female character. Baker is also a part of several collaborative art endeavors in an effort to expand her art practice and continue to explore art as a tool for communication.
